Because of the well-established image of the production area located amongst the mountains of Irpinia, with their particular pedological and micro-climatic conditions, Taurasi is recognized as being one of the noble Italian red wines. The Struzziero winery ages the wine in 25 and 10 Hl oak barrels in a truly special barrel cellar, for a period ranging from 24 months to 48 months for superior vintages.
