GRAPPA DI TAURASI
Master distillers achieve this fine acquavite by a careful selection of grapes of Taurasi subjected to squeezing soft and by the classic discontinuous steam method boilers in small copper. The integrity of pomace, the slow distillation and careful stay in small oak barrels grant to grappa an amber color, and aromatic and a decided fragrance and an intense and persistent taste.
HISTORICAL ORIGIN: Greek.
LOCATION OF VINEYARDS: Campania region – Irpinia.
VARIETY: 100% Taurasi pomace.
VINIFICATION: Craft method distillation using copper batch stills.
ALCOHOLIC STRENGTH: 45% vol.
